Coming to you live with another date night look, personally styled by my man. Yep, you read that right! Am I the only one who likes when my significant other expresses what they’d like to see me styled in?! I love that! In this case, I gave him free will to style me in whatever he wanted [that fell within the fall season attire] and I would keep my opinions to myself haha. As I’ve mentioned before, he loves when I wear all black. And I’m definitely a fan as well, it’s so chic and sophisticated. And brings forth the perfect vibes for date night. Not to mention, I am loving all things leather this fall. And apparently the feeling is mutual being that he styled this skirt for me. Before I dive into the details, I’ll just briefly say that he took his time on this look LOL. He proudly laid it out for me, adding his vision/concept and everything. I was impressed, and loved his confidence that he put into it! I probably should’ve let him type out this blog as well, but that might have been asking too much from him LOL!

Can we take a minute for the split on this skirt though? I LOVE. I found this skirt awhile back while I was doing my end of summer sale shopping. It wasn’t a steal alongside the many other things I found and posted from that bargain shopping adventure, but I still couldn’t leave it behind due to it’s statement. And $22 for a faux leather skirt wasn’t half bad either. It too is definitely a fall essential and an overall wardrobe staple! I immediately envisioned the various ways it could be styled which prompted my purchase even more, but I definitely appreciate my man’s taste and perspective with it as well.

The only part of this look that we altered were the shoes. He originally chose an open toe pair (granted they were leather as well and coordinated perfectly) but since it’s getting cooler now that it’s officially fall, we decided this mesh/fishnet pair would suit this look better. These still added the same edgy, chic finish to the ensemble!

I loved his vision for a mock neck top [I had to teach him that term LOL] styled with this skirt. A mock neck top can do something completely different to a look than a turtleneck, although they’re so similar. I also loved the ribbed detail on this top paired with the leather. The mesh heels were the perfect fun finish!

His detail with this look was actually impressive. From him expressing why he wanted this style top to be paired with the skirt, to him even grabbing…well finding in all of my junk… this coordinating leather purse to finish the look. You go babe! If you guys appreciated this switch-up and would like to see more of his input on my looks, please let me know in the comments because we can definitely make it happen! And as always, stay tuned for more of my fall date night looks! They’re my favorite to style! I hope you’re all having a blessed wind down to your week, have a stylish weekend!
