How’s your new year going?! Hopefully well! Mine has been off to a pretty good start I must say. I’m already expecting great things this year and already sensing a positive change in my spirit. The month of January, which usually drags, is moving right along too. It’s safe to say it’s officially winter. However, I don’t know how winter has been for everyone else thus far but I will say I am definitely ready for this Texas definition of winter to get it together. Who doesn’t have time to get sick is me! Thankfully I caught the good side of the weather today! I love this super cute patio setting at this restaurant I discovered in Plano called Haywire. It sits at the end of one of my favorite shopping centers and cute restaurant areas known as Legacy West. I’ll be capturing tons of moments and pictures in this area going forward! Plus I needed a reason to whip out the latest addition of my winter booties!
And if I can be honest with you guys, I would’ve preferred them in a different color such as burgundy or even white. I have so much black everything already! But I just couldn’t pass them up. They reminded me of a classic pair of Nine West boots my mom owned, which FUN FACT in case y’all didn’t know were the original red soled/bottom shoes! I just randomly thought about it and thought I’d share lol. Anywho, the chic square toe and coordinating square heel were to die for. THEN add the textured embossed snakeskin?! Sold!
This trench is an oldie but goodie. Plus I wanted the black booties to stand out so I was opposed to styling this look with a black coat or jacket. I love the simplicity of jeans styled with these booties although I can also see them styled with joggers or even a dress. I think I’m definitely gonna get a good amount of versatile wear out of them. In need of a simple cozy winter sweater? Shop this one here.
I hope you enjoyed this simple and easy to recreate winter look! Great for both daytime and transitional night wear. Nothing fancy at all, just wanted to share a little end of the week love through a look. Y’all have big plans for the weekend?! If you care for me to actually know those plans drop them in the comments LOL. I’m actually going to my very first vision board party and I’m pretty excited. My good friend Sammie, who actually helps co-produce all of my fashion shows, is actually hosting it and I’m excited to manifest even some things we want to bring forth in 2019 together!
Hope you all have a blessed weekend! I’ll be back next week to close out the month sharing a cute staple that I’ve been holding on to for a couple of months! Happy Friday Jr!
