I love my Sunday style, especially during the spring season. And church just so happens to be one of the main places that I enjoy sharing my style. Plus it’s the main place I go where I can actually wear heels, besides to dinner. Besides, the spring is the perfect time for wide leg pants, flowy skirts or dresses and two-piece sets. I’m pretty sure that the majority of my spring wardrobe will be worn to church. This particular look just so happened to be from this past Palm Sunday. The weather was not cute at all like I had hoped when I got dressed that morning, but I made it work.
As I have mentioned before, I usually stray away from anything long, oversized or wide leg, simply due to my petite size and I don’t want to look smothered in my outfit. However, these styles are dominating trends lately so I am gradually becoming more comfortable with them. Especially if the fit is nice, and these pants definitely won. I copped these babies during my Cali vacation, thought that I needed them for a last minute dinner outfit but plans changed. Upon trying them on, I was hesitant at first because I knew to expect 1 of 2 things: either they would be too long, or wouldn’t fit my waist. Well I was wrong. They basically fit perfectly, even without heels. From their fit, to their color, I didn’t think to hesitate on this purchase. And I knew that they could be perfectly styled with a graphic tee of some kind.
In fact, I originally bought a different shirt to wear with them. It too was white, but had a red graphic and lettering on it. I bought both that tee and this one while in Cali also, but I found that I liked the fit of this one better for this style of pants. And this shirt has officially taken it’s spot at the top of my list. If it’s hard to see, it reads: “Style is never wrong. Use only under stylist supervision.” I mean how cute is that? Especially with me being a stylist. I mean it is a tad bit shady too haha, but definitely worth the buy.
In total this look, including the hidden heels underneath the pants, cost under $50. Of course these pants could’ve been paired with a more floral or spring forward blouse, but the simple graphic is more of my style, if you couldn’t tell by now.
This is off topic BUT if you follow me on Instagram, then you saw my short message where I opened up about my love for pictures and photography. And what most still don’t know is that I take and edit all of my pictures myself, minus my work with a few photographers. Im far from a professional, but I definitely feel as though this was a gift God blessed me with. Blogging is my gift in general and I know that I’m only gonna continue to grow and improve. I’ve never had any guidance, classes or anything. In fact, I am thinking about making a blog post catered solely to some of the awesome pictures I have captured over the years. Let me know what you guys think of that.
Y’all got your Easter fits ready ?! I’ll be sharing a bit of how I plan to style mine later this week!
Happy Tuesday loves!
