Oh Hey 2018!

Y’all, why are we already 3 days into the new year? Like, is this how it’s about to be again? A 2017 speed repeat? I’m not ready. It still hasn’t even hit me that 2018 is actually here! My blog is about to be 2 years old, I’ll be 26 in 2 months *inserts crying face emoji* what is lifeeee?!

Besides all of that, I’ve already found one of my many 2018 obsessions.. ..these green pants. I mean look at them. They’re so classy and chic. They truly perfected this look on their own. Seriously, if I didn’t wear a single better pair of pants this whole year, I would be satisfied knowing that I came across these. Let me go ahead and drop their bomb price too: $15. Yep.

This look, plus these expensive shoes that I don’t even wear, screamed 2018 sophistication. Plus, this is like my favorite coat solely for the purpose is served with this look. I’ll never get rid of it. I’ve had it for years, and due to it’s color it just works with almost any look. It’s the perfect neutral coat aside from black. This was actually my outfit that I wore to church on NYE. I figured it and it’s details deserved the first 2018 spot here. I felt like such a lady in this look. Might I add, it was like 20 degrees outside so don’t let the slay fool you, I was dying taking these pictures lol. But it was worth it! Oh yeah! If you can’t tell, I’m starting to experiment a bit more with my editing skills and so far I like! It adds personality to the pictures in my opinion.

Reflecting on this 3rd day of January, I can say that I came into 2018 with a whole different level of gratefulness and expectation at the same time. I’m expecting for God to do great things, I am expecting for greatness to follow me in all that I will do. It’s definitely a new year and I am definitely the same me, but I think that 2017 helped to begin the building of a better version of me. And I’m only going to get better with time. I’m excited for the journey ahead. And the outfits that will come with it.
