Welcome to my rare Saturday post! I know it’s outside of the norm but I appreciate you giving me part of your Saturday to check in with me on my first official fall post! Now y’all know I keep it real with y’all, so I will say that the only reason I decided to post this on a weekend is because September scurried OWT of here and I needed something on this blog to be dated with September. It just gave me a personal peace of mind. This month waited for nobody, and the way my life is set up, listen. Anywhoo, we’re here. It’s happening. Let’s dive in! I know we all probably peeped camo making slight appearances into summer wardrobes, I even started sporting my first camo jacket towards the end of this past winter. Well the verdict is in, I’ve done a little research and the return of camo is legit! Y’all probably already knew that, but hey! Sometimes I like to make sure before I fully indulge into a trend. And I happen to actually love it for the fall! Therefore, I’m sharing two easy and affordable ways to style it this season.

You can never go wrong with a good graphic or slogan tee pairs with any kind of print bottoms, for starters. This one is actually to a men’s tee, per usual. I don’t know but their tees are always so much better to me. I actually wore this exact outfit a few weeks ago to the J Cole concert, but decided to save it’s deets for a fall blog. Feel free to keep it casual with Vans and a denim jacket.

Where would I wear this to you ask? It could be a cute concert look, fashion show attire,  a casual dinner date fit or even just a casual weekend look if you’re just in the mood to slay. This look is super achievable and affordable, I got this tee for $8, skirt for $17 and of course my fav fall booties we’re only $20.

Mini skirts and booties are a fall favorite of mine. You can achieve the same look with camo pants or joggers, or even reverse it with a denim skirt and camo shirt instead. Another super cute option would be a monochromatic camo look, meaning  camo shirt with matching camo bottoms. I think I may try that next! Be on the lookout 😉.

Here I’ve shown how to style your camo jacket or oversized button-down as a dress by simply adding a belt. No worries, I have on shorts under this one. You can style it the same if it’s shorter than you prefer. It’ll still work with a fitted skirt or jeans underneath as well. I personally just wanted to try something different with my jacket, so I treated it as if it were a mini dress. Thigh high boots would also work if you don’t prefer shorter booties.
Fun fact, this belt is from a blazer dress that I ordered from Missguided, and it’s definitely getting multiple uses. Since it’s always about the details for me, I loved it in coordination with my other accessories. I could’ve easily belted it with a solid belt, but I wanted something interesting against the camo print. You can belt yours with a thin or thick belt, and it doesn’t have to be black. Chocolate brown, camel or white would work just fine! You can achieve this look with a fitted shirt, or oversized jacket! And for all my guys reading, camo looks are def for y’all too! Whether monochromatic, or a graphic tee and trousers. Don’t be afraid to throw on your camo jacket or button down with distressed jeans this fall!

I’ve added  links to this skirt and this jacket , as well as some additional  camo items that you can purchase to achieve these looks this season: monochromatic look | jacket and belt | skirt and tee Happy Saturday! Prayers for a safe and relaxing weekend!
