Kourtney Kardashian does many things well, but she does monochromatic looks extremely well in my opinion. And if you know me, you know I love a good monochromatic look. If you aren’t clear on what monochromatic is, it’s basically a cohesive look consisting of the exact same colors [or super similar shades] from head to toe. It’s also a way to look super stylish and trendy without a whole lot of effort, my favorite thing to do since styling myself can be overwhelming sometimes. Aside from even just the coordinating colors of this look, I love it’s aesthetic as well. It gave me classy vintage vibes. Let’s get into it!

The color of this ensemble would be considered sage, which is a spring/summer shade that I love.

Sage is the perfect shade of green for the season, it’s so soft and chic and looks good on almost anything. Stay tuned for my own little touch of sage that I’ll be debuting soon. Let’s get off of the color and into these pants! Like what?! And what I love most about this, in addition to a lot of other things Kourtney wears, is that she doesn’t shy away from certain items due to her size. She is very petite, like me. And often when it comes to her choice of pants, she inspires me so much. Being shorter can sometimes make you avoid wearing certain styles of clothes so that it doesn’t appear that the clothing are wearing you. Now I’m sure she’s paying for custom fits or alterations on a lot of her garments, but she still makes a statement that petite women can wear some of the same things as taller women. And these pants were IT. I love the high waist and wide leg combination, pure gold and such a perfect fit on her body type.

She paired the pants with this coordinating oversized button down top. I liked the bodice of this top because it somewhat gave me the corset feel, since it’s fitted. However, the sleeves are oversized which coordinates with the wide leg pants. If you look at the photo closely, you can even see the thin stripes along the pants, and the structured seams on the top. Ugh, it’s seriously the simplest of details that draw me to a look. And although this look was super simple, it was still such a bold statement. Her hair pulled back was definitely the right move, allowing the look to be the sole focus. Not sure which shoes she paired with this look, but personally I would’ve styled it with sage colored single sole heels or mules. Kourtney definitely slayed this look!

This would be a look I’d definitely recreate for my pre-fall wardrobe, in fact I may start searching for a duplicate now. Monochromatic looks will always be in my top 5, in any season. Thank you loves for tuning into this week’s feature! Comment below if you stan this look as well! Hope you’re all having a safe and blessed week! Until next time.. .
