The weekend is here, loves! And spring is on the move okay! The color sage is my first choice this season, I mean obsessed isn’t even the word. It’s so subtle, yet makes quite the statement. The sage trend was actually popular last spring/summer 2020 as well, I featured it in my late summer collection for The Boutique. So you know I was very happy to see it still thriving this year. It’s the perfect pop of spring color and of course pairs well with my favorite essential, denim. It all started with this top, stumbled upon it at the end of winter as one of my favorite stores was transitioning into their spring collection and I had to have it! So let’s chat a little about it, since y’all know it’s always gonna be about the details for me.
Let’s discuss the details that are this top, two that I love most importantly: ribbed and square necklines. Those two made up the perfect combination for this spring top. And for it only have been $9.99, it’s quality feels like that of at least $30+. You can always count on me to find a good quality deal! I also love that it’s fitted so it tucks perfectly into high waist bottoms. And although it’s long sleeve, it’s light enough for spring weather. It’s so simple and chic, easy to style casually with denim or dress up for date night! This top will be heavy in my spring looks rotation.
This pair of coordinating mules just happened to be a plus! I bought them at separate times and separate stores, but they aligned perfectly. Don’t you just love when that happens?! I couldn’t leave them behind. They will pair well with so many things within my spring wardrobe. I’m typically not a “between the toe” shoe person, but these were a must for the season. They’ll be heavy in the spring rotation as well!
My spring wardrobe is officially off to a good start. Spring style for me will be kept pretty simple, per usual. But expect lot’s of pops of color, which I am most excited about.
